The Purpose Brief is the editorial platform from Resolute Purpose which has been established to help organisations build trust and engagement with their communities. Yes it is also a nod to a 90s Julia Roberts movie also.
The aim is simple: to provide thoughtful content that those who identify as good citizens can use to make better decisions, build stronger institutions and shift the conversation at the local pub.
Why?
The world feels like is becoming harder to navigate for us all with change impacting on our professional and personal lives. Issues are often connected and complex. What is clear that there is a need for greater purpose both at home and at work. Purpose is critical to all our futures.
The rise of Tech Bros and Artificial intelligence, the seeming dissolution of trust, the importance of place are key themes that The Purpose Brief comes back to at a time of deep change we will talk about good leadership, positive outcomes and how to potentially shift the dial on big systemic issues.
Rather than chasing headlines, we focus on long-term thinking, pragmatic insight and conversations that can give you context. We take the macro into the micro and we celebrate place-based change that will generally make you a much more interesting well rounded person.
But most importantly, with a nod to some retro pop culture aesthetics, we will also have a bit of fun celebrating impact and the work of good people and organisations from our base here in York and North Yorkshire.
